Whatcha gonna do with a cowboy?

Who's coming over? I have a goofy new guest bedroom. I ditched the brown and blue theme and went a little crazy with it. I'd like to thank Pier one for the comforter inspiration and the wooden mirror. I'd also like to thank Hobby Lobby for making a silly feather arrangement. Thank goodness I limit my "girly" to only this room or I might have the whole house done up crazy.

And I'm super excited to tell you....I finally have a console table for my big ol blank living room wall. Yippeeee. I'm waiting patiently (yeah...right) for it to be assembled.

And finally, story time. Sunday, Chase and Blake signed up to help my dad work cows. Chase has helped him lots of times, but I could NOT wait to hear Blake's stories of the experience. Chase and I went to bed at midnight the night before and Chase was up and going at 4am. Blake arrived at 5am and they were off to pick up my dad. They started at Lake Kickapoo....I think this place is comparable to Hell (but I've never been to Hell so Im not really sure). One wrong turn and your lost for HOURS. Well, they split up on horseback and Blake got lost (he said he wasn't and that he was just gathering strays)!!! Finally that afternoon, they had them all rounded up. They finished that job, drove some heifers to Graham to the sale barn, picked up some steers, drove the steers to Megargal, and finished up taking some more to my dad's place in Henrietta. That's ALOT of driving and riding. Long story short, being stuck out in a pasture miles away from food, my dad usually doesn't provide a lunch. It's crackers and beef jerky. HOWEVER, my dad DOES provide ice cold drinks....you know...the adult kind. Needless to say, FIFTEEN hours after they started they arrived home........in not so good condition. They more or less stumbled in......still hoopin and hollerin about their day. I ran to the grocery store really fast to get them some food and when I got back home...........the cowboys had died!!! Bless their little hearts!

Chase I apologize! But look, Dugan loves you!!
