Meet Roadie Owen Richardson

Say it 3 times fast and you'll "get it" hehe. Here is the new addition to my backyard. Chase and my dad found it this morning in my dad's pasture. He was orphaned. We can only figure his Mama just didn't love him that much and he hadn't eaten days. He still has his cord so he is only a few days old.

Fedders thinks he is steak on a hoof and wants to eat him.

Jake , my sweet nurturing dog, thinks that Roadie Owen is "his" baby. He lays with him, licks him clean, and protects him from everything.

He won't let the little guy out of his sight. What a good cow dog!

Here he is having his second bottle of the day. I make a GREAT Mama Cow.

Been there, done that! One of our mean (heartless) neighbors called and the police came and knocked on our door. Her name was "Baby Blue"...she had the bluest eyes you've ever seen!Baby Calfs are the sweetest!

Aw! how freakin adorable! Funny story... my first hickey was from a baby cow! i used to bottle feed them from my grandpas pasture and one was getting too big for the bottle and when i took it away from him he tackled me and sucked on my chin! lol. beware! chase might not think that big purple cow hicky is attractive! :)
