I do have an ancient burnt up straightener.
See Mom......next time you won't criticize me for putting a Chi on my wedding registry....because now you know what I'm working with. Wait, there won't be a next time, but you get the point. (Sometimes I call her out....and then she leaves a comment....it's like a neat little game).
My only real tip is Estee Lauder Double Wear.
Off to work on that little Baby House....I'm sure you'll get more on this later! =)

Hi Kate. I'm a random blog reader and havent commented before but had to on this one b/c although I didnt put a Chi on my wedding registry...I did use a gift card that we rec'd to buy a straightener. It's actually a FHI but very similar to a Chi. My husband didnt care and I was tickled to get a good straightener. :) I enjoy your blog!
I used that same exact flat iron in highschool.. LOL Then on our honeymoon it went dead.. SOOOO I broke down and got A CHI I LOVE it and it has definatly been worth my money <3
