Can you "spot" a trend??

Just call me the crazy dog lady, but I had to do it! Look at the BABY!!!

Meet Fishbone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His shelter given name. A 9 week old Catahoula puppy born on my bday! He was part of an unwanted litter of puppies. The owner said he thought his Catahoula was too young to breed and we see how that played out. So anyway, the guy dropped the 3 puppies off at animal control (in Oklahoma). And that's where I saw Fishbone on the internet. Chase said we absolutely cannot have a 4th dog and I agree, but he did say that he wouldn't mind if I went and bailed him out.......IF I will find him a nice home. So I drove to Oklahoma yesterday and picked the little feller up. He is tooooo cute. He is literally Jake's clone!!! I'm not in a big hurry to give him up because Chase will be in Houston for 2 weeks AND I am having soooo much fun with a puppy again......Not to mention he is an absolute little angel (so far).

LITTLE FISHBONE....

My step dad lost his dog a while back so I have been begging mom and him to be Fishbone's new parents! I even said I'd keep him, train him, and raise him out of his puppy phase. C'mon Mom....do you have a heart of steel or what? Look at that face!!!

Tuckered out! I love him. You know I'd keep as many as I could as long as I didn't end up on COPS as an animal hoarder.

And then.....we have a little jealousy from the previous "puppy" of the house. I don't think he was ready to give up his title as the youngest. I was trying to take pics of Fishbone and Dugan INSISTED on trying to get in every shot. He even posed. And of course....if I squatted down, he was all over me...trying to reclaim his puppyhood. Poor guy had his monthly seizure today too...today was not his day.
