Polar Express Cowboys

Today, my dad had his big annual calf working/branding. I believe he called it the Polar Express Branding. He does it the old fashioned way by roping and dragging. I'm not sure if this is because you can't find a chute in the middle of nowhere or if he actually likes it better this way. Regardless, we took the little ones out to watch a little bit of it and I snapped a few pics.




Hey look! It's Amber Morrison and Baby Cole! Blake was helping work too. It's part of the Morrison/Richardson co-dependence thing.




This guy took one for a ride after they worked him.




And there's my hubby in the tan jacket....hopefully avoiding hooves.



I think they got it under control!
