Goodbye Christmas..see ya next year!
What an odd Texas Christmas this was. I even had family trapped out on the highways over night. I feel bad for all of the trouble the snow caused, but I sure did enjoy it. This is what it looked like by Christmas Eve evening.
And I'm thrilled to say that I had the best icicles on the whole street. I was the ONLY one with icicles. I have no idea why. One was at least 4 feeet long, but we broke it off because we wanted to play with it.
We had a lot of fun and we recieved some really awesome gifts and we are really excited and thankful for ALL of them!
One cute little funny one....My mother-in-law found me a cookie jar shaped like a purse. Cracks me up!
The ONLY Xmas function I remembered to bring my camera was at my in-laws. And you see one of those BIG polka dot gifts? It was a patio cooler for Chase and I. You know I liked that!
My brother-in-law Chance and his girl Kayla. You can never get tired of these two.
And how did the hubby do this year? Well, he almost got the stink eye when I unwrapped a ton of socks. Yes, I need socks, but not necessarily from him!
But he recovered when he came up with this big Bloomingdales box containing my precious "Bow" coat mentioned a few posts back and sunglasses and gloves. Very nice considering I won't leave my house if I don't have sunglasses!
And Fedder Claus will be retiring his outfit until next year.
And of course I couldn't wait to hit After Christmas online sales. And these snow boots I have been pining for finally went on sale.....and just in time for our ski trip which I'm hoping to plan sometime this week. I'm thinking Jan 7-wheneverish!
SNOW BOOTS! I found them on sale at Neimans, but I just saw them cheaper at Bergdorfs (I hate when that happens!)...Happy Shopping!

You got some fantastic things out of it and time with the fam. We go back to Seattle tomorrow, and although I am sad Christmas is over .... I am ready to sleep in my own bed!
Cute boots! Love the cookie jar! I am also jealous of your snow.
