Ohhhh BEBE!

My best good friend Kaydee had her little baby girl today! Wheeew!! Berklee Grace (Grace is pending) Bean!

Kaydee and I have been friends forEVA...since we were kids. And now she has one!
Poor Kaydee was feelin not so hot, but I needed a blog worthy pic...so I stuck a pair of sunglasses on her head and a phone in her hand and she looks like she's having a fabulous time!

I sent this pic to Chase via cell phone and he responded..."Is she having that kid outside?"
Yes she was Chase...why not?

And obviously...I'm having more fun in this picture than Kaydee.

Full of anxiety...I went down and browsed the gift shop.....cause you know..shopping makes it all ok. I found a pair of tiny pink ruffly socks and bought them. When I went back up...Kaydee wasn't feeling very well, but she loved the socks so much and seemed they seemed to make her feel better.....so I went back down and bought 2 dozen more. I guess the kid will have lots of socks.

And here's the final product! A beautiful BEBE! 6lbs 15oz!

If you've been a follower for a while, then you know my extreme fear of birth, labor, hospitals, and doctors in general.......and for my first "labor" experience in my life.....it wasn't so bad.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was quite tramatizing for me and I didn't even see the delivery.
At one point...there was a little flub in the monitors and I happen to be the one in the room when the docs and nurses came flying in.....
I think I was still holding and rocking myself in the corner when I finally realized it was nothing major.

My mom told me that I'd need to get some big girl panties on and learn to deal with it so I can have my own baby one day........but you can't have a baby with panties on...so I don't see the point.

Maybe one day.....................

Happy Baby!!! I am terrified of birth. I don't do pain, blood, guts, etc.

The first thing I thought when I saw the pic of your friend was "Wow, she is doing really well, it looks like her labor was a breeze" - so the phone and sunglasses worked!

New folloer :-)
