Garage Sale Rich

Well, I had one of my semi annual garage sales. Love them. Chase says I just love to sell things....maybe he's right?
Last minute, the Morrison's joined us and brought a truckload over.



A little funny story about Chase and my purses.....I advertised purses in my garage sale ad....so when we woke up Saturday morning...people were parked down the street waiting to see purses!!!
I was not ready for this....and I just wanted to enjoy my coffee and newspaper first.


Finally, Chase said...."Seriously Kate...just bring them outside, there's a dozen people waiting!!"
So I handed Chase about 10 purses and said..."here ya go!"
He was attacked outside!!! Ladies were trying to pull them off of his arms! I never laughed so hard in my life!
He said he's NEVER doing that again.


Anyway...it was pretty successful and we took some of our garage sale money and headed to Graham TX to eat at the Wildcatter Ranch. So why not take pictures?!
Here's Chase and I.....I didn't catch this at the time, but he's wearing an old coat that Blake was selling in the garage sale. Bless his heart!



And the Morrison's! We sold their little boys in the garage sale so we could go out to eat.
Kidding! Blake's sister agreed to keep them and in exchange...Blake gave her a set of speakers from the sale....for free!






Speaking of sales.....I think I accidently sold my car....
I know it was advertised in the newspaper, craigslist, and all major auto websites.....but I still think it was an accident. =)
I am meeting a couple tomorrow in Dallas for the transaction.


The problem?
Chase and I are still in the middle of the GREAT LEXUS DEBATE OF 2010.
In my defense....my car is the BIGGEST tax deduction I have and I'd like USE that!


Chase's choice for ME.
Because I've always said..."other people always know what's best for you"....what?! Uhm no.
A Lexus RX450h. Cute right? But I don't want to be cute....

Pros: Price (obviously Chase's fave) and MPG! I think a Hybrid would be pretty nifty.
Cons: Size and RWD. How does he expect me to get 3 stinkies, 2 suitcases, and 4 people up a snowy mountain in this little thing?




I want ME to be THIS! A Lexus GX 460!!!

Pros: 4 Wheel Drive!!! Size! Coolness :)
Cons: Price (yikes), MPG (double yikes)


So what's a girl to do??????? Well...in these situations...I usually like to step back and ask myself.....
"Which one is the least practical for you?" Then I choose that one!
But in this case...they both seem impractical to me.
So Escalade anyone?

In the mean time...I can't WAIT to show you what I'll be driving until I make a decision. It's a dooooozy...let me tell ya! ;)
Let me just say that my younger brother drove it in highschool.
