As my brother would say "The Home"

What's goin on....... We had a great Halloween night. We had more trick or treaters than we have ever had before!! I got tired of going to the door! We had several friends stop by too and we ended playing Wii for several hours. I can't move my arms.

I don't have anything else to say so I thought I'd blog my house for some people who haven't had a chance to see it yet. (Nana Wee you need to get over here !! ) We have done alot of work, but there are still things that I want to do. We wanted bigger and we found bigger!! Its over 22oo sq ft!! Its an old house in an old neighborhood. Those are the best kind in my opinion. That's where their character comes from!!

This is the outside. So far, we painted the shutters and the door and replaced that old iron stuff with white columns instead. The landscape is KILLING me, but my grandma says you can't plant shrubs until January. So we'll see about that curb appeal come next spring!!!

Being a Realtor, I had the access and I searched high and low for the perfect house for us! I wanted something different than your regular old 3 bedroom 2 bath.

So we'll start off with this. You might say what is that, but thats a bathroom in our giant room that I call the gameroom and Chase calls the "bull pasture". I have no idea why.

This is the "Bull Pasture"/"Gameroom" (depending on who you ask). We didn't do much with it. Its solid wood paneling with a big fireplace and tile floors. I'd love to replace the paneling, but we decided that would get rid of the ambiance of the room. So it stays. Chase likes everything western so I decorated this room with everything western =). That's a deal I made with him so I wouldn't have to decorate the REST of the house in cowboy gear. Western fits the room anyway so it's not so bad.

Right behind the Tv area with the couches, you have the pool table, bar, and bathroom. This room is like a mullet. Business in the front, party in the back.

The little bar comes complete with an island, sink, stovetop, and fridge. I put up old tin signs and junk trying to make it fun. =)

I believe this is supposed to be a formal dining, but we stick to the breakfast area so I made this into a walkway of sorts coming off of the living room and kitchen and into the gameroom.

This is the lformal living room. Our furniture will be in any day now. I can't believe it takes a month for furniture to arrive!!! I had to paint the room, replace the carpet, hang the plantation blinds and replace the fan, but it was worth it.

This is the kitchen. Its kind of a galley kitchen with pocket doors on both sides. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but M&D is going to do our countertops pretty soon!!!

This is the hall bath. Can you say GREEN????? I tried to use every color, but green when I went to decorate it!!!

This is the first guest bedroom. I call it the "girl's room". I think would fit a girl perfect!

This is the other guest bedroom that I call the "boys room" (surprise).

Another shot of the "boys guest room"

This is part of the master bath. I won't show the master bedroom because I haven't done ANYTHING with it yet....so I don't like it. =)

I love the patio. It was one of the things I was searching for when we were looking. "The perfect patio"

So that's my house.. I hope you liked the tour. I really put alot of thought into this one. Our previous ones had been money making adventures, but this one I wanted to be our "Home." It definately is!!!

And finally, the yard. We HAD to have a big yard for all of my "stinkies" and this was pefect. It wraps all the way around the house and has a creek that runs behind it. We let the dogs out to run in the field and stretch their legs.
