Taos and back.....in 3 days.

It started out as a "girls" trip to decorate the Taos place, but ended up with guys and dogs.

Mer and I were going to go alone, but our husbands came with.

Sadly...I was an awful blogger and ended up with five....count 'em five pics from the whole weekend.

Dugan...wants to know why all of these decorations are in his car.

And Chase would like to know why I am taking pictures of him. He's soooo over that like 1995.

This is about all I got of the decor part.....I put in a cute lil light up tree...that's decorations right?




And it did rain while we were there....and Mer did need to make a car run.....so she hatted up accordingly. Dustin luhs her soo much!



And we traded out an old tiny TV for a nice bigger one. Thanks Taos Walmart =)

And that's all I got on camera, but we had a lot of fun!

And finally....

After 6 years......

Chase and I finally.....

saw our first official bear!

And it happened like this:

It's 10pm

Mer and Kate were in the condo....maybe eating pizza and cinnamon rolls and cookies and....anything we could get our hands on with the condo door open.

Chase is out loading the old TV in the car with Dugan.

Chase heads back up the stairs and calls for Kate.

Kate is scared and wont come out, but she does.

BOOM! Big bear right outside the door on the walkway.

Thanks Chase!

I think he was a "friendly bear"...he saw us making a fuss and turned and slowly walked off.

Nice Bear!

But still.....you aren't getting our cinnamon rolls.

And on a different note...I think a spider bit my ear while we were in Taos.

So I took every available opportunity to prove to Chase that spiders ARE in FACT out to get me and the monthly spider sprays I have at my house are in fact needed.

And that a BIG, RED, FAT, ear is not attractive on a woman.

I think he agrees....I think. I hope.
