I forgot to mention....my fishpond mishap a few weeks ago.
Maybe I'm just recovering.
After Chase installed our new filter thing, I thought it would be a good idea to drain the water partially and add some fresh water.
I started draining the pond and it takes a while so I went inside, while inside, I got a call to show some houses so I left and FORGOT that my pond was draining.......
When I came home FIVE hours later.....there was only about a foot of water in my pond.
I was horrified. I also made it outside in time to watch Jake swallow the last dead floating goldfish whole.
I lost all of my fish......dead due to lack of water and officially ALL eaten by Jake (GROSS!).
I lost ALL of my lilly pads.
And the pump died from running with no water.
Here is the leftover pond. Full of algae with no fish and a stick that used to be a fountain.
I hate anything to happen to any animal (goldfish included) and when my husband came out to say, "WTF......I can't believe.......what were you thinking........................"
I went all wifezilla on him and screamed it was an accident and I didn't do it on purpose.
When I get out of mourning the above named fish....I think I'll try my luck again.
"Where's the fish, Mom???"
Dear Fish,
You started out in this world as tiny timid fish in the $1.98 tank at Walmart. You grew to be big strong friendly fish in my backyard pond. You left this world in a pile of dog crap.
I let you down.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Richardson
***Note to self: Postpone having a baby.

Poor fishies! Maybe your nickname should be Darla - please tell me you've seen Finding Nemo. Kidding! So, are you going to get some more?
Love the wifezilla line!
LOL, the stuff that got added in at the end is HILARIOUS!
LOL!! I'm laughing but yet I'm saddened. :( I don't blame you for going all wifezilla - it happens around the Fouts household quiet often!!!
