Tile, Dogs, Fish, and Flowers

Well....lots going on here....

Since I have ugly countertops...I thought I'd have Chase "dress them up" a bit with a tile backsplash.....kind of like sticking a hair bow on an ugly kid. At least that's what my mom did. JOKING JOKING.
Anyway....here it is!

And looks like we have a mess going

Meanwhile, back at the pond, it was time for its yearly drain and clean.

And I got that job....and I did NOT like that job.

But I'd rather do it and be spared the lecture: "You're the one that wanted a pond and you shoulda thought thangs through before ya went out...blah blah blah" I typed it like he'd say it..can you tell...the "blah blah blah" is usually when I stop listening and wander off.

And I went straight gardener style on the front porch.

Sweet Face....or maybe Two Face....Dugan. Don't let that sweet face fool you...it's also the reason we have chicken wire around the shrubs in the background.

Jake...WILL NEVER look at the camera. I guess I've flashed him one too many times.

But they both know better than to set one paw off that green tile. Green Tile=Dog Tile.

Other flooring=Kate and Chase's.

And finally, Chase told me no garden this year, but I couldn't help, but sneak one lil bitty tomato plant in.

Well, I have some news (No Baby). It appears as though Chase and I will be moving. It looks like Chase got the job in Graham, TX......and that's A-OK with me. I love that town!

I'll be commuting to Wichita Falls so make sure you still buy all of your houses from me. =)

So.....my house will be up for sale soon and I feel like I have one million plus things to do before I do that, but we go the backsplash done.

Yes..we are those ding dongs that fix up their house to sell it.

BUT Momma didn't raise no fool and I know what it takes to sell it....and it shall be done!!!! =)
